Scrap it With a Song's challenge!
Let's see what they have created and why:
Gemma
I picked "Best Day of my Life." As soon as I heard it, I thought about a day we had last Summer in London. It was such a fun day with beautiful weather. It definitely ranks as one of the best days of my life so far!
For the Scrap it with a Song challenge, I selected the song "Best Day of my Life," because every day, and any time spent laughing and scrapping with my creative friends is a "Best Day!"
I chose a line from "Best day of my life." This is a photo of me taken the summer before I joined Sliming World and is a reminder of how far I've come.
I chose some words from "Best Day of my Life." In the song, they sing "lose control" but I wrote "lost" instead. I was inspired by the colors from the mood board.
I chose "Best Day of my Life" because it instantly makes me feel like dancing and it sure shows how I feel when I am with my family. Even with everyday problems, each day with them is the best day.
My title and my journaling were inspired by lyrics of The Best Day. The bright light and sunshine elements from the mood board are why I chose the photo in the first place - with the light flare in the corner.
Taru
I chose the rock song "So Am I." In particular, the name of the song inspired me!
(We don't remember days, we remember moments!)
I chose "Best Day of my Life." I feel any day spent with my three grandchildren is the best day of my life. Besides the son being beautiful, the lyrics "all the possibilities" really hit me because with grandchildren, all things are possible and I hope all of their dreams come true!
I love the colors and images of the mood board for CY#29! For our collaboration with Scrap it With a Song, I picked "Best Day of my Life" because I wanted to scrap about my dreams . . . and this song just makes me happy!!!

ReplyDeleteI came back to look at the beautiful inspiration. I made scrapbook layouts for the first time on National Scrapbooking Day and I was inspired by your challenge for the one I submitted to your challenge (#11). My page is not as beautiful as the pages I see here but I am happy to be a beginner and will learn as I make more pages. Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement.
