Design Team Announcement!

 Hi everyone!

Next, we have exciting news!  We are very happy to announce the

Challenge YOUrself 2022 Design Team:

But first, we were very sad to say goodbye to a longstanding, talented, and wonderful design team member:

 

Sadly, Taru Jehkonen passed away on May 13, 2021.  We cannot begin to say how much we miss and will continue to miss her.  If you did not see it, you can see our blog post or the Facebook page that was started in her memory.  

You will always be in our hearts, Taru. ❤

Secondly, we are excited to have three new design team members joining us:

Please welcome Nancy :

My name is Nancy and I am an accountant by day and scrapbooker/crafter by night. I was lured into the wonderful world of scrapbooking back in 2001 by Creative Memories. I had scrapbooked for about 3 years but had stopped when my kids were born. Now that the kids are older, and I have more time for myself, it’s time to pick up scrapbooking again! I jumped back in at the end of 2020 by joining challenges, which was new to me, but it kept me motivated. So much has changed with scrapbooking , I have so much to learn and try, but I am ready!!!

I'm a German girl from Dresden, and I would say my biggest passion is my love for papercraft projects & colours! I love to try different materials & techniques… For me scrapbooking is not only memory-keeping; it's my time. To fussy cut, glue, and collect all the bits and pieces is just a relaxing process. And it was also a therapeutic one in the last years. Scrapbooking for me is like a journey and surprising myself. I like it if the colours are bright and the items have a fresh look. For this, I would currently describe my style mostly as clean, layered & full of colours loving to discover new things, new techniques, new styles.

And last but not least, please welcome Kristina:

Hi! I am Kristina, my nickname is Laru. I love doing art especially with photos. My children inspired me to create beautiful memory albums, not only for photos, but moreover to preserve their paintings and little things in their childhood. You can find me on social media under “LaurCraft” at my blog, FB, IG, and sometimes Pinterest accounts!
