Introduction: Lynn L.

Hi my name is Lynn and I am so happy to have you join me and my fabulous Design Team here at Challenge YOUrself. Most people scrap about everyone else and forget to leave a little bit of themselves in their layouts.  It's time to leave your mark!  I've had this idea for a challenge blog for a long time and thanks to some encouragement from a good friend ;)  I decided to give it a try.

I live in a small town in Northern Ontario Canada with my patient and dear husband, two busy daughters, two spoiled Siamese cats and one lucky turtle.  I was intrigued by scrapbooking about 10+ years ago when I seen Making Memories on the Shopping Channel.  I knew right then that scrapbooking was something I had to have in my life!  I have always been an artsy crafty person.  My hobby has grown dramatically in the last few years since I have been blogging.  I have a very busy lifestyle and scrapbooking is my getaway and my down time.  It's my therapy that keeps me going ;)
I am so happy that YOU can share this journey with me.

You can see my creations on my blog HERE.

♥ Please come back tomorrow for our first challenge reveal ♥

DT Introduction: Tracy

Hello, I'm Tracy!  I'm from NW Indiana and I live a blessed life with a
great guy!  Together we've created and raised a loving/happy blended family of four.  I started scrapbooking in 2003, by taking a local class, just out of curiosity, and I've been addicted ever since.  In the last few years I
have been able to spend more time creating and its starting to become more of a lifestyle instead of a hobby.  Its hard to pinpoint my "style" since I am all over the place.  I love to try new techniques, but I do like a clean
look.  My weaknesses right now are the wooden accents, I just love them and you will probably see some type of wooden accent on my layouts.  And another are alphas, I've got TONS of alphas!  You can never have enough of them,  right?!

DT Introduction: Terhi

I'm 27-year-old scrapbooker, mother, crafter, horseback-rider, employee and wonderful person from Finland.
I've been scrapping for two years now, and I couldn't imagine life without
it anymore. Every joke is a possible title for the next layout, and every
picture I take is something to play with, scrapbooking is more than hobby
for me, it's a lifestyle.
My scrap style is quite "scandinavian", lots of straight lines, harmony
color themes with good sense of humor.
I like to archive memories of my daughters growing, and also every day
life: nature, nice little details and moments I want to remember.

DT Introduction: Lisa

I’ve been scrapping seriously for 11 years now.  My husband bought my first “kit” for me when our first son was born.  That kit has grown and grown requiring its own room.  When he complains of the time I spend scrapbooking, I always remind him that he was the one that got me going.  It’s nice to flip through older albums and see how my talent has progressed.  Being the family historian, I take pride in the fact that I am documenting our lives.  I try to document the everyday things that will be forgotten or overlooked.

DT Introduction: Shawna

I'm Shawna and I've been scrapbooking for about 8 years, give or take.  I live in NY with my wonderful husband, our sweet and spunky 4-going-on-14 year-old daughter, her big "fur-brother", and our sketchy kitty.

I took a few years off after the birth of my daughter but dove back in head first this past spring.  I love how the hobby has morphed from simple photo memory books to such a diverse and widespread art form incorporating so much more than paper and photos.  I love working with color and texture and you will often find lots of both on my layouts. I think it's important to include ourselves in our scrapbooks so that those who will be looking at these books in generations to come can know the person behind the camera. We scrapbook to tell our stories, and we are most certainly part of our own stories.
