Hi, my name is Cathy and I live in Keelung City of Taiwan, with my husband and 21 year old daughter. I started crafting when my daughter got interested in making cards. When I found out about scrapbooking 6 years ago, it quickly became my new passion! I always want to spend more time scrapbooking. I think it is the perfect way to save memories from my daily life. I am so happy to be a part Challenge YOUrself - I  always like to challenge myself in crafting, especially by making sure I am on the pages!

 Hi everyone!  Today we are featuring a beautiful layout made by one of our design team members.  Her name is Maya Yang and she has been a wonderful member of the Challenge YOUrself design team since January of 2019!

Here's a little about Maya:

Hello!  My name is Maya Yang.  My mandarin name is Chiao-Yu.  I'm a passionate scrapper, craft designer, blogger and traveler.  I live in the United States, but originally came from Taiwan, a subtropical island in Asia.  I love everything about art and have enjoyed painting and crafting since I was a little kid.  My scrapbooking journey started in 2013 when I visited my boyfriend's (who is now my husband) home in the United States.  His mom showed me her scrapbook collections and I was amazed by them.  Immediately my crafting soul was inspired and I wanted to learn everything about scrapbooking.  Since my scrapbooking journey started, I have made layouts, cards, albums, altered art, mixed media canvases, etc.  My inspiration comes from my daily life, experiences of travel, beautiful natural elements, and encouraging/motivating words.  Below is a quote that I really love about crafting. 

"In Crafting, there are no mistakes, just unique creations."

 Hi everyone! Today we are very happy to have guest designer, Cindy Alverez sharing a beautiful layout that she made for our 100th challenge!  She was a talented and amazing part our design team from January, 2014 through December, 2018.

 

Here is a little about Cindy:

 

 My name is Cindy and I'm from Chile.  I started scrapbooking many years ago when I made a birthday banner for my little daughter.  After that, I couldn't stop paper crafting.  Scrapbooking and working with beautiful papers & photos has given me so much joy.  And I especially like that it gave me the opportunity to leave behind beautiful memories of my family.  I was happy to be chosen to be on the Challenge YOUrself design team when it first started in November of 2013 and I ended my term in December of 2018.  I really enjoyed working on the team and especially liked making pages with photos of me and my family!

NYC . . . with Design Team Member Sherri!

 Hi everyone!  Today we are featuring a beautiful layout made by our talented design team member, Sherri Caramico!  She has been a part of our team since December of 2014! We are so thankful for her. She has created so many amazing layouts for our team over the years!

Here's a little about Sherri:

I am a wife and mother of 2 adult sons, and 3 Portuguese Water Dogs. All of them are my favorite subjects!  We love to travel, and Disney Cruising and Disney Parks are our favorite way to vacation. I love meeting people, and enjoy photographing our journeys. I started scrapping late in my children's lives, ( about 18 years ago,) and I know I will never get "caught up." I'm okay with that, as I like to scrap what I "feel like" scrapping, and love lots of layers, textures and "stuff" on my pages.

I work full time in the corporate world and scrapbooking helps me to relax from a busy day, and get creative.  It has helped me to meet so many people that I now call my true friends.  I enjoy inspiring others to think outside the box and encourage them to try a new technique or product. I believe there is no right or wrong, no good or bad - everyone has their own personal "art" inside them.

 Today we are featuring one of our amazing design team members, Tracy Pinkepank.  Tracy became part the Challenge YOUrself design team when it originated in November of 2013 and served through June of 2016.  After a much needed break, we were lucky to get her back on our team in January of 2020!

Here's a little about Tracy:

 

 

I'm Tracy and I'm from NW Indiana.  I live a blessed life with a great, supportive husband and together we've raised a loving and happy blended family of four, along with our grandchildren!  All of these bring us so much joy!  I started scrapbooking in 2003 by taking a local class out of curiosity, and that's all it took.  I've been addicted ever since.  I've taken a short hiatus due to lack of motivation and just life in general... but now I'm back and have been loving creating again!!

Hi, I'm Ashley and I started scrapbooking when I was 16. I was playing along with Challenge YOUrself for a long time, so I was really excited to join the DT in 2020. My husband and I have three dogs and we just bought our dream home in the country. I love to travel, garden, and work out. I've been a registered nurse for 12+ years and I love to spend my evenings in my craft room.
